Our HistoryECLA’s roots go back to 1979 when three visionary executives—Linda Sternhill Davis, Sue Keating, and Vivian Stephenson—began meeting informally to improve communication and collaboration across California’s bar associations. In 1983, their efforts became formalized with the creation of ECLA, now a nonprofit professional society serving bar leaders statewide. | Past Presidents
